Stages of construction

Excavation

The process starts with precise marking of Levels and Location with allowances for PCC and blockwork. On small sites or in confined spaces, excavation may be carried out by manual means using tools such as picks, shovels and wheelbarrows. Larger scale excavation works will require Excavator machines like JCB.

P C C

Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) is a construction material generally used as a binding materials and is composed of cement, (commonly Portland Cement), aggregate (generally a coarse aggregate made of gravels or crushed rocks such as limestone or granite, plus a fine aggregate such as sand), water, and chemical admixtures.

Steel

Steel reinforcement is made available in the form of TMT series steel of bars, bend to a given schedule which known as bar schedule and tied according to the reinforcement drawings with stirrups. The normal diameters of bars used at the site are 8 to 10 millimetres. The bar-benders are provided bars with necessary size and will be bent according to the required shape and length. Then they will be placed as in the drawings.

Guniting

Guniting involves placing the dry concrete ingredients into a hopper and then conveying them pneumatically through a hose to the nozzle. The nozzle man controls the addition of water at the nozzle. The water and the dry mixture is not completely mixed, but is completed as the mixture hits the receiving surface. Gunite undergoes placement and compaction at the same time due to the force with which it is projected from the nozzle. It can be impacted onto any type or shape of surface, including vertical or overhead areas. Gunite or a variation called is a type of reinforced concrete; it is strong and adaptable to unusual shapes

Plumbing

Licensed plumber will come in and add in the necessary plumbing for the pool. You will need to create a supply and filtration system which meets the codes for your area. Only a plumber with pool experience being hired as an inexperienced one can ruin your pool.

Filtration

Filtration is the mechanical process of removing insoluble matter from swimming pool water. Pool water carrying particulate matter, solids and debris is passed through filtering media that allow the water to return to the pool clear. Water clarity is important for appearance, hygiene and safety. The common method of noting water clarity is to be able to see tiles at the deep end of pool clearly from the pool deck.

Tiling

The most important aesthetic element in a pool is tiling. The tiles are laid in line with the water level on the walls. We have many options on selection of tiles starting from Ceramic, Glass mosaic and Porcelain Mosaic. The thickness of tiles varies from 3 mm up to 8 mm. Depending on the clients budget we offer wide range of tiles. Preference is given to tiles with minimum water absorption. Grouting can be done with cement based grouts to Epoxy grouts.
